hi gang. using jfw 5.1 and ie 6. when i go to a web page the page doesn't load all the time. I have to refresh the page before I can see what is there. all refresh settings are set to refresh as needed in jfw. any ideas how i can speed this process up?

Smudge,
you could try hitting control r to refresh. Or, simply restart jaws. sometimes, pages only work right after jaws has been restarted.

hi smudge, well, it also depends if you are in a dial-up connection. Sometimes the process is delayed since the brouser uses images, err, some websites do. So, images can be sometimes part of a text or jfw does not allow you to read through until the page is done loading. For this, when you are loading a page read the status bar serveral times. If it says done and you still cannot read, make sure the virtual pc cursor is on, (press numbpad pluss to activate). Or else, press the escape key to force the computer to stop downloading the complete image, or go to tool>internet options. Then go to advanced tab, then in the tree view go to media, and disable the option "show pictures". Then restart internet explorer and try again. Hope that helps
